Multi-platinum, two-time Grammy Award winning and Billboard chart topping artist Jason Mraz has collaborated with REBECCA JADE, Miki Vale and Veronica May to release the single “Bad Wolves” ahead of the November 2020 election.

“Bad Wolves” is a dark yet inspiring protest song about how the country is literally being run by “Bad Wolves,” furthering a system of systematic racism and oppression. The lyrics encourage action and change. The song, by Pacific Records artist REBECCA JADE, and accompanying video prominently feature Jason Mraz, alongside fellow recording artists Miki Vale and Veronica May.

The video premiered yesterday via Entertainment Tonight Canada and is available now at https://youtu.be/OjZVBqqGXb0.

“‘Bad Wolves’ is about perspective and is a rally cry for the acknowledgement of racial injustice and police brutality, while calling out the blind eye of the unaffected – in musical form,” JADE says.

Mraz adds, “On and on throughout history, art has aided in the enlightenment and transformation of humanity. Today, I am proud to participate with my fellow artists to help amplify the optimism and education needed to combat systemic racism in America. ‘Bad Wolves’ is more than a song. It’s a four-dimensional experience of music, poetry, visual art, and dance. It’s a virtual march for peace. A call for change – calling out injustices when we see them, while signaling the silent to wake up. It’s not political. It’s ethical.”

The “Bad Wolves” single is available today via all digital music providers at https://ffm.to/badwolves. Proceeds from the song’s revenue will be donated to the black owned non-profit organization Bay Vista, whose mission is to help serve the needs of the black community. “I’m proud to have played a small role in getting this important song into the world at a time where our country needs to hear it more than ever,” says label owner Brian Witkin. The time for change is now.”
