Los Angeles-based VIRAL, a musical composite of six-stringed fury, electronic chaos and lyrical invective led by vocalist Frankie Cassara and multi-instrumentalist/producer Billy Graziadei (Biohazard, BillyBio), has revealed a new video for the track “Disorder.”

VIRAL is a ravenous machine that feeds off of my misfortunes, dissatisfaction with these experiences and my solutions through them,” Frankie Cassara explains. “I spit it out into the world to decipher and come up with their interpretations. I’ve walked through darkness to appreciate life, and now VIRAL helps me translate that into a ferocious energy emotion to be share with the world.”

“Disorder” could best be described as 20 years of New York hardcore lifers in an octagon match. Its push-and-pull feel sounds like a death match between man and machine, which is at once comfortable yet intriguing, just as its creators had intended.

Cassara and Graziadei met nearly a decade ago in their native New York City when Cassara auditioned for the vacant vocalist position in Biohazard. Though Cassara did not get the gig, the pair kept in touch and reconnected when they both moved to Los Angeles, planting the seeds for a musical project that would stretch beyond their hardcore and metal pasts and transcend genres. While VIRAL hints at those genres, they incorporate the greater technological flavor inherent in hip-hop, industrial and other genres that emphasize experimental avenues.

VIRAL is scheduled to provide direct support to acclaimed European electro-metal icons Die Krupps in November and December of this year. With Graziadei’s other commitments preventing him from touring with VIRAL, Cassara has enlisted a true team of dedicated players to spread the contagion world-wide. Flanking his vocal prowess is a childhood friend and savage drummer George Kokkoris along with electronics engineer and keyboardist Jorge Ruvalcava, bassist Garrett “Benjie” Conroy, and guitarists Aaron Miller and Angel Ruiz.
