New Album “Behind A Mask” Hits Stores on April 30, 2013 via Red Decade Records and MEG/RED
Today, Russian rockers LOUNA are pleased to share a new, exclusive video interview with Revolver Magazine! In the interview, the band discusses the new album Behind a Mask, rewriting their songs in English, misconceptions about LOUNA based on stereotypes, and more. LOUNA is poised to take over the American hard-rock scene with their new album, Behind A Mask, in-stores and available online April 30, 2013 via Red Decade Records and MEG/RED. Behind A Mask will open the eyes and ears of the American rock music scene by showcasing the pure blistering talent of LOUNA and the soaring vocals of the band’s lead singer Lousine “Lou” Gevorkian (in a world that has become immersed in autotune and over-production, Behind A Mask boasts true musical talent with only 10-15 seconds of vocal correction on the entire 45-minute record). Behind A Mask features 10 of the band’s best songs from their first two albums and have been painstakingly adapted into English by American producer and lyricist Travis Leake (the SLoT). The album was mixed by renowned producer/engineer Dan Korneff (Breaking Benjamin, The Pretty Reckless, Papa Roach, My Chemical Romance, Paramore) and mastering duties were handled by the legendary Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound, New York.

LOUNA has a brand new music video for the track ‘Business’ coming soon. View the new teaser video for the track now at CraveOnline.com. The full music video for ‘Business’ is one of the most expensive and elaborate productions in Russian music history according to the film company, InnerVision.
LOUNA released their first album, “Let’s Get Louder” in December of 2010, selling out every venue during their first national tour of Russia supporting the album. Two singles, “Fight Club” and “Let’s Get Louder” reached #1 on the Russian radio charts, with “Fight Club” remaining in the top 10 for a record-breaking 16 weeks and also being named the 2011 Rock Song of the Year at the annual Nashe Awards. Along with this, LOUNA was nominated for Breakthrough Artist and Solo Performance of the year. Their second album, “The Time of X,” released in February of 2012 has already produced a #1 single, “Mama,” and their most recent single “People Looking Up” entered the Russian charts in the top 10.

***Behind A Mask and the single ‘Mama’ were originally slated for release through RDR via Rocket Science Ventures/The Orchard, with the original album release date as April 23, 2013. Due to a new deal signed by Red Decade Records LLC with Membran Entertainment Group/Sony RED, the single (as well as any other past or future LOUNA release) is no longer available through RDR via RSV/Orchard and is now available online via iTunes and Amazon through MEG/ RED. Behind A Mask will now be released via MEG/RED on April 30, 2013 in the U.S. and Canada. All future Red Decade Records LLC releases will be released through MEG/RED as well. Red Decade Records LLC apologizes for any confusion regarding this release and feels that this new partnership with Membran Entertainment will allow LOUNA and our other artists to reach more people in a more effective manner.
