 As if JEREMY SAFFER’s upcoming Hollywood-based “Capturing Music” Seminar/”From Shoot To Print” Workshop wasn’t cool enough, now you can get a personally signed copy of his new book, Till Death… A Guide to Love and Loss, during the event!

Till Death… A Guide to Love and Loss is a new, 70-page, full color hardcover photo book that combines the creative and twisted minds of celebrated rock photographer JEREMY SAFFER and the to-die-for frontwoman of New Years Day, Ash Costello, in a goth-culture romantic horror-comedy with an axe-sharp sense of humor!

JEREMY SAFFER and Ash Costello will personally sign copies of the book at a special in-store appearance at SoundCheck Hollywood on Saturday, June 8th at 6:00pm. This is JEREMY SAFFER’s first book signing and will take place directly after Day 1 of his West Coast “Capturing Music” Seminar/”From Shoot To Print” Workshop (see below for more info). The signing is open to the public.

Jeremy and Ash will also be signing limited edition metallic prints of some art from the book. In addition to free goodies and contests at the event, there will be limited edition mini-prints available to the first 50 attendees in line!   • The “Capturing Music” Seminar will focus entirely on doing portrait work with musicians. It will cover the process from setting up the photo shoot, scouting locations, posing, different types of lighting and lighting equipment for different situations, shooting endorsements, promotional images, CD layouts, Magazine layouts, as well as taking you through the process of what you do AFTER the shoot, invoicing, getting repeat business, etc.

  • The “From Shoot To Print” workshop will consist of a complete photo shoot of the special guest band completed by Jeremy, with various lighting set ups in various locations in and around the studio. Then YOU take over and you do a photo shoot with the band. After shooting the band, Jeremy will load the photos onto his computer and show you everything he does in editing and post-processing to get the image ready to be printed in a magazine, in an ad, or in a CD lay out. You will see what a real-life photo shoot is and Jeremy’s full editing process, from shoot, to print. This is a very personal and very rare opportunity to learn personally from one of music’s most sought-after photographers.
