MemoryTag, a brand new video sharing app that puts the hot technology of QR Codes in the hands of the average Joe, is taking North America by storm! Next week, during the first Rush Week of the year at Sacramento State University, several of the top rushing fraternities and hottest clubs and teams will be testing out MemoryTag stickers at the campus, finding new ways to recruit for their organization. MemoryTag will be present on campus on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week to further spread the word with labels and t-shirts.

To celebrate the beginning of Rush Week, Barwest (located at 2724 J St. in Sacramento, CA, www.mybarwest.com ) will host a special MemoryTag kick-off event on February 13th at 10:00PM. The event will include an appearance by UFC professional fighter and MemoryTag owner Urijah Faber, MemoryTag Label and T-Shirt giveaways, and free special Urijah Faber Valentine’s Day MemoryTag greeting cards.

Barwest will also host the kick-off of a new contest from MemoryTag, dubbed “If These Walls Could Talk”. To participate in the contest, students may tweet their funny, creative or interesting video from within the MemoryTag app, along with a selfie pic of themselves with the tag at the place/location/thing where other people may scan the tag. Check out this video for a visual explanation of the “If These Walls Could Talk” contest: http://youtu.be/MUlSR8pGWhk

Barwest will hold another event in March, so stay tuned for details. This second event will also host the announcement of the “If These Walls Could Talk” winner.

Currently at Sacramento State and the Greek community is comprised of over 3,000 students. If you’re at Sacramento State, give MemoryTag a try and experience how fun sharing a message through unique stickers, greeting cards and postcards can be in a college campus atmosphere.

Make sure to catch Urijah’s fight for the UFC title on February 1st in New Jersey!

MemoryTag is giving back to their social media followers! MemoryTag is giving away free lunch and dinner several times per week to their Instagram and Twitter followers. Whoever says there’s no such this as “free lunch” is mistaken! Winners may also receive free MemoryTags with dinner gift cards.

Since 2009, MemoryTag has worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between those things that you can touch and feel and the many platforms to your online world on the web. Why download a regular QR scanner app when you can do that and upload your own personalized videos to your own specific QR codes stickers, greeting cards, and other accessories, anywhere and anytime?

Download the free App using the Apple or Android buttons located at the bottom of www.TheMemoryTag.com. Once the installation is complete, you are ready to use MemoryTag products. The unique code on each MemoryTag can be scanned for the purpose of creating or viewing custom video messages.

There’s nothing more sincere, more fun, and more powerful than communicating with MemoryTags. Keep it real with messages that you can see and hear–with products that you can apply, touch, and keep for a lifetime. Don’t have a mobile device? No problem! Simply enter the alpha-numeric code from the MemoryTag into the field displayed at the website’s footer. Click “Submit”. The video will start playing in your browser.
