New Mountain Side EP Out Now | Order via iTunes
Global Music Award-winning Nomadic Mongolian folk metal group TENGGER CAVALRY are kicking off their North American headline tour with INCITE today! Tickets are available now at this location

In celebration of today’s kick-off, Billboard is exclusively premiering a brand new single from the band, entitled “The Struggle”. Listen here and read an interview with TENGGER CAVALRY vocalist Nature Ganganbaigal:  http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/rock/7511065/tengger-cavalry-the-struggle-premiere

Ganganbaigal explains that “The Struggle” is a unique track in the band’s catalog, as it does not follow their distinctive nomadic songwriting theme. It was written about personal struggle – a subject all listeners can relate to.

In the interviewGanganbaigal states to Billboard“‘The Struggle’ is very different from all the other TENGGER CAVALRY songs, because this one is a very personal song that expresses inner strife. We usually write songs about nomadic culture and traditions like horses and war. In life, we all deal with a crisis of faith or a massive life challenge, which is what ‘The Struggle’ is about: a person trying hard to put themselves back together when confronting a meltdown. Musically, we used a Central-Asian melody to articulate the [sorrowful] part.”

You can hear TENGGER CAVALRY perform “The Struggle” as well as recent favorites like “War Horse” on their upcoming tour. See below for all confirmed tour dates.
