As mentioned above, CMIS features artist performance showcases. This year’s performers include Canto, Acoustic Minds, Konflict, G2, Tom Richardson, Yoshiko, Kwanza Jones, Mr. P Chill, Trapdoor Social, and more. These showcases produce an electrifying and important platform for artists / bands. Performing at the CMIS annual conference and networking with other music groups, music industry professionals and music admirers in this unique conference setting can be essential to careers. Most of the showcases are open to the public. Showcases are usually 30 – 40 minute sets of original music. Registration to perform in a showcase is now closed.
