Pre-Order via Bandcamp Here
Alternative hard rockers VOODOO TERROR TRIBE are just one month away from the November 11, 2016 release of their third full-length offering, entitled The Sun Shining Cold. Following the release of a new track entitled “Cell” last week via Loudwire (featuring guest vocals by The Sun Shining Coldproducer Cristian Machado of Ill Niño), the band is revealing a guitar playthrough video for the track featuring guitarist Emir Erkal. Watch it now, exclusively via Gear Godshttp://geargods.net/news/voodoo-terror-tribe-cell-featuring-cristian-machado-of-ill-nino-exclusive-guitar-playthrough/

Erkal describes the guitar set-up he uses on “Cell”: “This guitar that I used in this video (which I also used on some of the recording of this new album and also on stage most of the recent tour), is very special to me. I guess, like every old school metal head I’m a big Slayer fan as well, and this is a limited edition LTD Slayer ‘Reign in Blood 25th Anniversary’ Guitar by ESP, where the body is splattered with a reproduction of Larry Carroll’s artwork from the cover of the controversial and influential thrash metal album “Reign in Blood” released in 1986. The headstock has a special LTD logo in the famous Slayer typeface, next to the words “Reign in Blood 25″. Pentagram inlays are set in the lower half of the fingerboard, with the Slayer logo inlaid near the 12th fret, with the Xtra thin U neck contour, ebony fingerboard with 24 extra jumbo frets, and the fierce EMG-81/85 active humbucker pick up combo. Black hardware and Slayer/Stars inlays add to the extreme vibe. It’s an axe that’s sure to set ears bleeding… And I have some beautiful DR Neon Green Strings on it to complete the great sound…”
The Sun Shining Coldis available for pre-order now via Bandcamp. The 10-track album delivers in-your-face hard rock anthems, soaring ballads and alt-metal scorchers – all individually unique and dynamic in their delivery. Produced by Ill Niño vocalist Cristian Machado, The Sun Shining Cold was recorded at Sound Wars Studios in Hoboken, NJ and mixed at Fuel Music Studios in Anaheim, CA.
Earlier this month, the band revealed another track from the album, “No Hell Like Home”, following their summer release of the “City of Sixes” music video – directed by Scott Hansen (Motionless in White, A Day To Remember, We Came As Romans) and tallying over 130,000 views as of this month.

About VOODOO TERROR TRIBE:
Over the years, alternative hard rockers VOODOO TERROR TRIBE have made a name for themselves as a mainstay in the New York tri-state area and beyond. Their intense performances and diverse discography, which includes three EP’s and two full-lengths released between 2005 and 2014 (including 2009’s Symptoms of Sin recorded with Billy Graziadei [Biohazard, Suicide City]), have solidified the band as a premier talent amidst a sea of contemporaries.
Formed by Emir Erkal on guitars (an Istanbul, Turkey native who moved to USA in order to take his musical career to the next level) and longtime friend T-Bone on drums, the duo later brought in Primer on bass and topped off their alt-metal sound with the masterfully vocalized emotional poetry by vocalist Gil PZ.
