Gritty rocker Jimi Zolo shares “I thought it was high time to record some tunes I’ve been writing. I hope the fans love it like we do.”
The single features a standout drum performance by AC/DC‘s Matt Laug and was recorded by producer Marc DeSisto recently at Mix LA Studio D in Tarzana, CA.
The video features Jimi Zolo on guitar and lead vocals, with Dan Mcnay on bass and Andy Galeon on drums. It was produced by Brent Turner and WayRad Media “We kept the video organic and straightforward like the tune,” stated Zolo.
Zolo has played with many bands as a lead guitarist and is currently scheduled to join Metal O.G.s Circus of Power on guitar for shows this summer.

About Jimi Zolo:
Hailing from Boston, Jimi is now a San Diego based guitarist. As a kid, Jimi had a cool mom who turned him on to Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, and Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as local Boston area bands like Aerosmith, The Cars, J. Geils Band, and of course Boston.
As a sideman, Jimi has racked up many writing and recording credits including, Joe Wood (TSOL) “Change Today”, Oni Logan (Lynch Mob, Dio Disciples) “Cosmic Trust Sessions, and Joel Ellis (Cats & Boots, Heavy Bones) “Ellis Island”, and a number of San Diego area artists. He also gained attention with two of his own bands, The Red Lotus Revue and The Holla Pointe.
Self-proclaimed Dirty Rock ‘N’ Roller For Life, today, Jimi’s focus is on his own art as a guitarist, frontman, and writer.
