SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -Founding members of HarXsoN reunite with Ed Repka, the “King of Thrash Metal Art” for the cover of Can’t Kill Us, an album produced by the legendary Bill Metoyer.

After nearly two decades igniting global stages with HIRAX, Long Beach, California-born brothers Lance and Steve Harrison formed HarXsoN in 2024. Based in San Diego, the power-trio is completed by drummer Mike Vega, also a former member of HIRAX, guaranteeing a tight and explosive chemistry.

Musically, Can’t Kill Us maintains the level of visual excellence. The seven tracks were produced, mixed, and mastered by Bill Metoyer, the name behind the classic Metal Blade Records sound. Metoyer produced seminal works such as Slayer‘s Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits, in addition to working with Armored Saint, DRI, Corrosion of Conformity, Sacred Steel, and HIRAX themselves.

The Can’t Kill Us EP, dropping January 30th, will arrive with killer cover artwork from illustrator

Ed Repka, who created the iconic cover art for the 2009 HIRAX album El Rostro de la Muerte (The Face of Death), as well as Megadeth’s Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying and Rust in Peace albums, and many more of the cream of the crop Metal bands.

“Working with Ed Repka again is like closing a perfect cycle for us,” declares bassist and vocalist Steve Harrison. “We knew that only he could give visual life to ‘Can’t Kill Us’. Repka’s style is a seal of authenticity in Thrash Metal. When you see that style, you already know that the sound will be fast, dirty and real. Having his signature on our debut is an absolute honor.” The album’s graphic layout was finalized by Scott Waters of No Life Til Metal Graphics.

Guitarist Lance Harrison says “Musically we’re picking up where we left off with our last release from Hirax – ‘Immortal Legacy’. Riffs like ‘Axes of Death’ show the continuance , and Mike Vega is crushing on the track. It’s a very special release for us because it’s our first of many with Mike.”

No Life Til Metal Records officially announces the release of Can’t Kill Us, the highly anticipated debut album from the power-trio HarXsoN. The album arrives in stores and on streaming platforms on January 30th, bringing together forces that promise to shake the foundations of Thrash Metal. “The world is full of evil. HarXsoN came to kill it.” With this mission, the band delivers a visceral Thrash Metal attack, available on CD Jewel Case and in a collector’s edition vinyl.

About HARXSON:

Born and raised on the streets of Long Beach, CA, Lance and Steve Harrison have been traveling and touring the world from 2006 to 2021, totaling 16 years with the legendary thrash band HIRAX. The brothers have 2 EPs and 2 full length albums as well as a live album and DVDs under their belts. They’ve played and toured all over the world, including the United States, Europe, Japan, Central and South America, and much more.

After igniting stages worldwide with subcultural legends HIRAX during a nearly two-decade-long stint Lance and Steve Harrison forcefully return with an explosive new San Diego trio and their classic thrash attack. The Harrison brothers are joined in the 2024-formed HarXsoN by another HIRAX alum, drummer Mike Vega. HarXsoN emerged back on the scene with metal and fire burning within their souls, and the riffs to “Thrash Them All.”

HarXsoN is armed with aggressive thrash built for the circle-pitting, headbanging, and extreme music fans devoted to the early work of Slayer, Exodus, Motörhead, and the rest of the legendary metal songbook. There was no more room in hell, so HarXsoN is here on earth to thrash ‘em all!
