Today, Combustion 96 have teamed with Revolver to premiere the new music video for their 2023 single “On the Line,” which Swedish metal vet Peter Iwers (The Halo Effect, In Flames) described as “energetic old-school thrash à la Bay Area, combined with a modern twist and a very catchy chorus.”

Formed in 2015, Combustion 96 forges a hard-hitting mix of hard rock and metal that originates from their impressively diverse bank of influences. Starting as a one-man project, the music attracted several notable vocalists for its 2016 debut EP, First Wave. Singers such as Tommy Vext (The Lone Wolf, Bad Wolves), Frankie Palmeri (Emmure), and Corey Bennett (Bermuda) all contributed to the underground success of the band’s first offering that, to this day, continues to draw considerable streaming attraction.

Dallas based Hard Rock/Metal act Combustion 96 decided to follow up their recent releases (singles “Damaged,” “Up Again,” and “On The Line”)”with a run of shows in the fall of 2023. Putting together a lineup of experienced musicians, the band’s first southwest regional tour was considered a huge success, highlighted with a headline show at Austin’s Come And Take It Live. To kick off the new year, the band did another highly successful tour in Texas, testing some coming releases in a live setting.

The next Combustion 96 single, “Lost in the Dark,” is set for release this spring. Throughout 2024, the band plans to consistently tour, release new music, continue collaborating with established musicians and expand on the sonic and visual universe that characterizes Combustion 96.
